Other uses...
As I've said before, even though it no longer looks like one, this digital picture frame still remains a laptop. During the months that passed since I first created it, I have found several other uses for it, besides the ones I already highlighted on the previous pages.
One of these other uses is watching movies and series. While you're developing software, there will always be times when you're waiting for a test run to finish, or when you simply need a moment or so to restructure your thoughts. Most of those times, I like to just listen to some music or watch some TV. With this dedicated screen on the wall, it's very easy to watch some DVDs or series from the hard drive. Limited as it may be, it will still hold enough material to pass a few hours.
Last but not least: I also use my frame to read ebooks, mostly manuals and similar stuff. Even though I've never been a big fan of reading guides or manuals off a screen, it has grown on me ever since I hung that frame on my wall.
Of course these are not the only uses for a picture frame - so if you should know of other things I could do with my laptop, please feel free to let me know, and I'll certainly give them a try.
